Anish Taank has had a diverse range of work experience throughout their career. Anish began as a Server Administrator at ICAP in 2002 and then moved on to Tradition in 2003, where they worked as a Team Lead - Linux. At Tradition, they were responsible for various tasks such as firewall management, network monitoring, Linux package building and deployment, hardware installation, and 3rd line support of trading applications. Anish also played a key role in data center moves, re-architecting the backup environment, and implementing a physical to virtual environment transition for the Linux server estate.

In 2016, Anish joined Quantlab Financial, LLC as an Infrastructure Engineer. During their time there, they focused on infrastructure-related tasks and played a crucial role in migrating Oracle databases for an FX trading platform onto Violin Flash Storage Array to improve overall platform performance.

Anish then moved on to Lacuna Solutions in 2017, where they worked as a Systems Architect. Anish spent five months in this role, contributing their expertise to the company's systems architecture.

Most recently, Anish joined Citadel Securities in 2018 as a Senior Linux Systems Engineer. Anish is currently involved in the role, and no end date has been provided.

Anish Taank completed a Bachelor's degree in Mathematics and Computing from De Montfort University from 1996 to 2000. Before that, from 1994 to 1996, Anish attended Dr Challoners for a period of time, but it is not specified whether a degree or field of study was completed there. Anish also obtained a certification as a Red Hat Certified System Administrator from Redhat in September 2011.
