Alexandre Bensoussan

Quantitative Trader at Citadel Securities

Alexandre Bensoussan has a diverse work experience in the finance industry. Alexandre is currently employed at Citadel Securities as a Quantitative Trader since March 2020. Prior to that, they worked at Societe Generale Corporate and Investment Banking (SGCIB) in the same role from April 2018 to February 2020. Alexandre also had a brief stint at SGCIB as a Quantitative Researcher Analyst from June 2017 to December 2017.

Before their career in finance, Alexandre worked as a Portfolio Manager Assistant at Groupe Amilton in 2016. In this role, they conducted research on momentum and mean reversion style strategies for different asset classes. Alexandre also developed and backtested a unified strategy that combined momentum and mean reversion features, resulting in higher risk-adjusted returns. Additionally, they implemented a portfolio visualization tool to analyze returns and risk attributions.

Alexandre has also been involved in various roles outside of the finance industry. Alexandre served as a Mathematics oral examiner at EPF Ecole d'ingénieurs from September 2015 to April 2016. Alexandre was also the External Communication Manager at Forum Centrale-Supélec from February 2015 to January 2016. Alexandre briefly worked as an Operator Placement at Intersurf in June 2015.

Alexandre Bensoussan completed their education in a chronological order as follows: from 2012 to 2014, they attended Lycée Pasteur, where they pursued a degree in MPSI - MP* with a focus on Mathematics, Physics, and Engineering sciences. Alexandre then went on to study at CentraleSupélec from 2014 to 2017, earning a Master of Science (M.S.) degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering. Lastly, from 2016 to 2017, Alexandre attended Columbia University, where they obtained a Master of Science (M.S.) degree in Operations Research.
