Shri Kallol is a Senior Data Scientist at Cision since September 2022. Prior to that, they worked at SAIF Corporation from June 2019 to September 2022 as a Data Scientist. At SAIF Corporation, they developed NLP models, built Generalized Linear Models (GLMs), and created data pipelines using SQL/Pyspark. Shri also collaborated with SMEs to design business rules to improve claims complexity assignment.

Before SAIF Corporation, Shri Kallol worked as a Data Scientist at Apple for a brief period from March 2019 to May 2019. Shri also gained experience as a Data Science Intern at The Marketing Store, North America from September 2018 to February 2019, and as a Data Science Intern at tuutkia LLC from June 2018 to August 2018.

In addition, Shri Kallol worked as a Research Assistant at the University of Illinois at Chicago from January 2018 to May 2018. In this role, they leveraged Natural Language Processing (NLP) concepts to analyze patent documents and assist a construction company in understanding its competitors' inventions and patents.

Prior to their career in data science, Shri Kallol gained experience as an Associate Supply Chain Analyst at TULAJA ALLOYS STEEL PRIVATE LIMITED from July 2015 to May 2016. Shri also worked as an Intern at Powerjac Systems Private Limited in India from January 2015 to February 2015.

Shri Kallol completed their bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering at Gogte Institute of Technology, Belgaum, from 2011 to 2015. Shri then pursued a master's degree in Industrial Engineering at the University of Illinois Chicago from 2016 to 2018. Additionally, in January 2017, they obtained certifications in Introduction to Data Science in Python and Machine Learning Foundations: A Case Study Approach from Coursera Course Certificates.
