Royce Shih

Senior Vice President Asia-pacific at Cision

Royce Shih has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries and roles. Royce worked at Cision from 2014 to the present, initially as the VP Sales & Marketing for APAC and later as the VP and Head of Commercial, APAC. At Cision, they led commercial teams, enabling brands to understand and amplify their story.

Prior to Cision, Royce served as the Chief Operating Officer at Groupon in 2013. Royce was responsible for overseeing the company's operations.

Before Groupon, Royce held various positions at Monster Worldwide. From 2012 to 2013, they served as the General Manager for Hong Kong and the head of international sales for Greater China. Royce was responsible for the full P&L accountability and management of all departments in Hong Kong, as well as leading international sales teams across China.

From 2008 to 2011, Royce was the Director of Business Development, Greater China at Monster Worldwide. Royce led business development and go-to-market strategy in the Greater China region, managing the Hong Kong office and international business in China.

Royce began their career at Wells Fargo in 2004 as a Sr. Financial Consultant. Royce managed distribution strategies and expansion initiatives for the Greater Bay Area Region and advised on strategic growth.

Prior to Wells Fargo, Royce worked as a Financial Advisor at Morgan Stanley from 2002 to 2004. Royce developed a wealth management book of business and provided investment advice to high net worth clients.

In 2000, Royce gained experience as a Financial Intern at Sybase, where they prepared budgets, conducted market research, and created financial reports.

Earlier in their career, Royce worked at CIBC as a Customer Sales and Service Representative from 1996 to 1999, and at DBS Bank - Securities as an Equity Research Intern in 1997.

Royce Shih earned a BA in Political Science/International Relations from The University of British Columbia, where they studied from 1995 to 1999. They then pursued an MBA in eBusiness and Marketing from the University of San Francisco, completing it from 1999 to 2001. Additionally, Royce Shih obtained a Registered Investment Advisor certification from NASD and NYSE, though the specific time frame for this qualification is unknown.
