Miguel Carmelo has extensive experience in leadership roles across various organizations, including serving as a Patrono at Save the Children España since 2019 and a Vicepresidente at Centro de Estudios Garrigues from 2019 to 2022. From 2000 to 2022, Miguel held multiple positions at Universidad Europea, including CEO, Presidente, and Director General, while also presiding over the Fundación and the Consejo de Administración. Currently a member of the Junta Directiva at Círculo de Empresarios, Miguel previously served as Presidente of the American Business Council from 2015 to 2022 and Chairman at Université Internationale de Casablanca until late 2018. Miguel's corporate experience includes leadership at Unilever as CEO Europe and Division VP for Europe during the 1990s. Academically, Miguel holds a Doctorate in Investigación y Comercialización de Mercados from Universidad Autónoma de Madrid and a degree in Ciencias Económicas y Empresariales from Universidad Complutense de Madrid.
