Bjørn Arild Thon has extensive experience in leadership roles within the environmental and sustainability sectors. Currently serving as Chairman at Madaster Norway and CircularNorway since 2020 and 2017 respectively, Thon is also the CEO of RENAS AS since 2014. Previously, Thon held the position of CEO at Scannova AS, where the focus was on renewable technologies and waste-to-energy systems. Thon has a strong background in sales and project management from roles at Ragn-Sells and Veolia Environmental Services, emphasizing strategic development in the energy and material recovery markets. Thon's academic credentials include an MS in Physics and Production Engineering from the Norwegian University of Life Sciences and Army Officer Training School.
