Alexander F. Christiansen is an accomplished leader with extensive experience in strategy, business development, and project management related to sustainability and circular economy initiatives. As CEO of CircularNorway since December 2019, Alexander has supported various stakeholders, including businesses and government entities, in transitioning towards circular economic models. Prior roles at DNV GL involved serving as Principal Consultant and Principal Researcher, focusing on integrating climate information into decision-making and developing innovative risk assessments related to climate adaptation. Earlier positions at Forsvarets forskningsinstitutt and Dstl centered on research and development in emergency preparedness against CBRN threats, with notable contributions to NATO and UK Armed Forces projects. Alexander holds a Master of Technology Management from the Norwegian University of Science and Technology, a Visiting Fellows Program degree from MIT Sloan School of Management, and a Master of Science in Chemistry from the University of Oslo.
