Sebastian Tietjen is a highly experienced engineering professional currently serving as the Head of Engineering at Circular Carbon, overseeing a team of six and managing the development of technology for biochar and energy production since September 2020. Previously, Sebastian held the position of Project Manager, where responsibilities included the engineering and commissioning of a new bioenergy power plant, coordinating suppliers, and managing substantial investments. Sebastian also contributes to the VNCI as a TSC Scholarship Holder and has held various internships, including research at Technische Universiteit Delft and technical roles at TÃœV NORD Systems and Dow. Educational qualifications include a Master of Science in Chemical Engineering from Delft University of Technology, a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from the University of South Wales, and a Bachelor of Engineering in Process, Energy, and Environmental Engineering from Hochschule Hannover.
