Dr Lorraine Kelly

Clinical Partner For Circle Healthgroup at Circle Health

Dr Lorraine Kelly (PhD) has a diverse work experience in the healthcare industry. Dr Lorraine is currently serving as the Director of Clinical Services at Circle Health Group since February 2022. Prior to this, they held the position of Director of Clinical Services at BMI Healthcare from April 2020. Dr Lorraine also worked as an Interim Director of Nursing and Clinical Services at BMI Blackheath. Dr Kelly has also served as the Regional Director of Clinical Services for Spire Healthcare and National Matron for Spire Healthcare starting from 2019. Prior to these roles, they worked as the Deputy Chief Nurse at HCA Healthcare. Before joining HCA, Dr Kelly held the position of Director of Clinical Services at Aspen. Dr Lorraine previously worked at BMI Healthcare as the Director of Nursing from March 2010 to July 2016. Dr Kelly started their career in the NHS, where they worked at various trusts including Barnet and Chase Farm NHS Trust and Royal Free NHS Trust.

Dr Lorraine Kelly (PhD) has a diverse education history. Dr Lorraine received their Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) degree in Breast Cancer Follow up from Middlesex University from 2000 to 2010. Additionally, from 1995 to 1998, they earned a Bachelor of Science (Hons) degree in Professional Practice from the same university. Dr Kelly also completed various specialized courses, such as the Advanced Breast Care Course at Royal Marsden in 1991-1992 and the Colorectal and Stoma Care Course at St Bartholomews in 1992. Dr Lorraine further pursued education in management, completing the Level 5 ILM Management Course at Skills for Health in 2013-2014. Dr Lorraine'seducational journey also includes a Counselling Course in 1995 and a National District Nursing Qualification in Community Nursing from North London Polytechnic in 1988. Dr Lorraine began their academic pursuits in the field of healthcare as a Registered Nurse at Barnet General Hospital from 1981 to 1984.
