David A. has a diverse work experience in the field of communications and network engineering. David worked as a Network Engineer at Circadence starting from 2015. Prior to that, they worked at SAIC from 2005 to 2015, serving as a Communications/Network Engineer. In this role, they gained expertise in operating systems such as VXworks, Linux, and Microsoft Windows, as well as various network and phone systems including Nortel, Avaya, and Cisco. David also has experience in cyber security certification and accreditation processes, disaster recovery, and implementation of security policies. Before joining SAIC, they worked at SMDC from 2010 to 2014, and at Missile Defense Agency from 2006 to 2010, both in communications roles. David began their career at Wiltel, Williams Communications, NextiraOne, and Black Box Network Services from 1998 to 2006 as a Communications professional.

David A. completed their Associate of Science (A.S.) degree in Industrial Electronics Technology at Bevill State Community College from 1994 to 1996. Prior to that, they attended New Hope High School from 1991 to 1994, although they did not obtain a degree or field of study from there. David also had some certifications, including Security+ from CompTIA in 2010, Nortel Communication Server 1000 Rls. 5.0 Networking Design (NCSD) from Nortel Networks in 2009, and Applications Management Essentials (AME) from PeopleSoft Career in 2008. David also has certifications in Nortel Converged IP Networks (NCTS) from Nortel Networks in 2005, Nortel X11-X81 Release 25 Basic Database Administration from Nortel Networks in 2001, LAN/WAN Integration from Williams Communications in 2000, and Norstar, plus MICS 3.0 and Voicemail 3.0 installation, Maintenance, and Database from Nortel Networks in 1998. Furthermore, they obtained CCNA certification from Cisco in 2014. Their other certifications include NetApp Certified Data Administrator, ONTAP from NetApp in 2019, CCNA Routing and Switching 200-120 from Cisco in 2014, CCNA Security 210-260 from Cisco in 2017, and Fiber & Copper Termination from Panduit.
