Abigail Davis has a strong background in design and packaging. Abigail started their career as a Graphic Designer at Hirt & Carter, where they worked as a Digital Retoucher, responsible for retouching and color correction of images. Abigail then moved on to Cipla South Africa, where they held various roles including Graphic Designer, Senior Graphic Designer: Branding, Design Studio Manager, Senior Manager - Design Lead, and most recently, Associate Director - Design & Packaging. In these positions, they were responsible for managing design projects, overseeing workflow management, ensuring brand guidelines and visual language consistency, and developing team members' skills. Throughout their career, Abigail has consistently demonstrated their creativity, attention to detail, and ability to deliver high-quality projects.
Abigail Davis has a diverse education history in various fields. In 1997, they completed their matriculation with exemption at Milnerton High School. Following that, in 2003 and 2004, they pursued a Diploma in Art Direction at ADCO.
In 2005, Abigail obtained a Higher Certificate in Multimedia Design from MacSchool. Subsequently, in 2007, they earned a Certificate in Digital SLR Photography I from The Cape Town School of Photography. In 2009, they further enhanced their skills by completing a Certificate in Adobe Lightroom at the same school. In 2010, Abigail received a Higher Certificate in Digital SLR Photography II from The Cape Town School of Photography.
In 2014, they attended Vega School and studied Web Design, although they did not obtain a degree there. Then, in 2017, Abigail pursued a Certificate in Project Management at Red & Yellow Creative School of Business.
Continuing their education journey, from 2020 to 2021, Abigail enrolled in the Red & Yellow Creative School of Business and completed a Higher National Diploma in Digital Marketing. Additionally, they obtained a National Certificate in Advertising from the same institution in October 2022.
Abigail Davis has demonstrated a commitment to expanding their skills and knowledge in various areas of interest throughout their education history.
