Mica Comstock has a diverse work experience that spans from 1999 to 2008. From 1999 to 2006, they worked as a PhD Candidate in Mechanical Engineering (Assembly Technology) at Linköping University. From 2006 to 2008, they worked as a Quality Engineer at BT Products, Sweden. Mica then moved on to become the Director of Operations at Cinnafilm, Inc. from 2008 onwards.

Mica Comstock began their education at the United States Military Academy at West Point in 1983, where they earned a Bachelor of Science in Latin American Studies and Engineering in 1987. Mica then went on to earn their Master of Business Administration in Management Information Systems from UNM Anderson School of Management in 1993-1995. Finally, they completed their doctoral studies at Linköping University in 1999-2004, earning a Ph.D. in Mechanical Engineering (Assembly Technology).
