David King has a long history of work experience, beginning with founding The CVK Group in 1990. As a Founding Partner, they shared all managerial responsibilities including marketing, personnel, and the development and implementation of corporate policies. In 1994, they founded Activerse, Inc., a software development startup that specialized in real-time communications applications for the Internet. As COO/Chairman, they were responsible for all business related activities, including raising capital, maintaining accounting, legal, financial and payroll records, and negotiating consulting and distribution agreements. In 1999, they founded Starex, Inc., an astronomy-based edutainment software company. David was responsible for all corporate duties. In 2000, they worked with the Chairman of Yehti Corp to sell the technology assets and set-up and finance a new company, with a refocused marketing strategy. David was responsible for all HR, legal and financial related activities. In 2005, they co-founded Fusion Mobile, a prepaid cellular service company that specialized in providing turnkey programs to retailers. David was the VP of Finance. In 2009, they were the VP of Finance for Fisoc, Inc. From 2011 to 2016, they were an independent consultant and accounting studies. Since 2016, they have been a Fractional CFO Consulting for Divide By N, LLC and is active in the start-up community in New Mexico, advising and consulting with multiple early-stage companies. Since 2022, they have been the VP of Finance for Cinnafilm, Inc., a global leader in innovative video and audio optimization solutions for theatrical, broadcast, OTT, and web delivery.

David King received their MBA in Finance from Thunderbird School of Global Management in 1993, and their BA in Economics from The University of Texas at Austin in 1987. David also holds certifications as a Certified Public Accountant from the New Mexico State Board of Accountancy (obtained in November 2019), a Certified Managerial Accountant from the Institute of Management Accountants (obtained in January 2013), and a Certified Quickbooks ProAdvisor from Intuit.
