Their most recent position was as the Director of Brand Marketing and Growth at Cigna, where they led the B2B brand marketing and campaign strategy for two major Cigna businesses. Adam developed the Evernorth value proposition and utilized it as a business and marketing platform. Additionally, Adam owned the content marketing and SEO strategy, regularly publishing research reports, thought leadership articles, and videos to generate marketing qualified leads.
Prior to their role at Cigna, Adam served as the Senior Communications Manager - External Affairs at Cigna, where they managed the corporate websites and led the social media strategy for Express Scripts. Adam was also Vice President of Communications and Inter-ERG Relations for EXPRESSions, Cigna's LGBTQ+ employee resource group.

Adam Hickey, MBA (He/Him), has a Bachelor of Journalism degree in Strategic Communication from the University of Missouri-Columbia. Adam completed this degree from 2005 to 2009. Afterwards, they pursued a Master of Business Administration (M.B.A.) in Marketing at Washington University in St. Louis from 2014 to 2016.
