Mafalda Frade has extensive experience in exhibition development and education, currently serving as an Exhibition Developer at Ciência Viva since January 2016. Previously, Mafalda Frade worked at Oceanário de Lisboa as an Education/Exhibition Developer from September 2000 to December 2015. Other roles include a position as a Formador at Grupo Leya for a short term in 2012, and involvement in exhibition work at Fundação Calouste Gulbenkian in 2009. Early career positions include Técnico de conservação at Instituto da Conservação da Natureza e das Florestas from 1999 to July 2000 and Biólogo at IPIMAR from December 1998 to July 1999. Mafalda Frade holds a degree from the University of Lisbon (1993-1999) and further education from Ar.Co - Centro de Arte e Comunicação Visual (2000-2002), along with an European baccalaureate from the European School of Luxembourg.
