David Ford is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in technology and business development. Currently serving as Senior Manager for Global Technical Support at Ciena since February 2021 and as Chief Technology Officer for eMPOWER Fund since September 2017, Ford focuses on providing technological access to underserved communities. Prior roles include Senior GTM Specialist for IoT at Amazon Web Services, Independent Consultant for business development and strategy, and Business Development Manager specializing in IoT innovations at Intel, where significant contributions led to the launch of new startups and growth in the IoT ecosystem.
