Veronique Newton is a highly experienced professional in the pharmaceutical and scientific research fields, currently serving as Directeur scientifique, Head of Research & Innovation, and preclinical laboratory manager at CIDP - Centre International de Développement Pharmaceutique since August 2016. Prior to this role, Veronique worked as a medical writer at Orphanet from November 2012 to July 2016, where tasks included identifying documentary sources for writing and updating texts on rare diseases. Veronique's academic background includes a Research Doctorate in Biochemistry and Molecular Biology from Pierre and Marie Curie University, completed in 2012, and a Master 2 in Immunology from Université Paris Cité in 2008. Additionally, Veronique held a post-doctoral fellowship at Institut Pasteur in September 2012, following a doctoral researcher position there from 2008 to 2012.
