Stas Gayshan has a diverse work experience in various roles and industries. Stas is currently working at CIC (Cambridge Innovation Center) as the General Counsel and Managing Director. Stas also founded CIC-Boston and played a key role in building vibrant innovation ecosystems in premier locations.
In the past, Stas worked as the Principal at Democratic Intelligence, where they managed campaigns and led fundraising efforts. Stas also served as the General Counsel and Chief Technology Strategist at Scintitech INC, where they designed scalable information technology infrastructure and negotiated contracts.
Stas has experience in the public sector as well. Stas served as the General Counsel at CIC Health for 27 months, where they played a crucial role in scaling the organization. Stas also served as a Recreation Commissioner in the Town of Wayland, MA, and was elected multiple times.
In the non-profit sector, Stas founded and led Space with a Soul, a mission accelerator that focused on solving problems for small organizations and startups. Stas also worked as the Director of Technology for Martha Coakley's U.S. Senate campaign and as a Research Associate for the Democratic National Committee.
Stas's early career includes roles such as a Legal Intern at Hillary Clinton's presidential campaign and the Office of the Massachusetts Attorney General, where they gained experience in legal research and drafting memoranda. Overall, Stas Gayshan has a wide range of experience in leadership, legal, technology, and campaign management roles.
Stas Gayshan attended Boston College from 2000 to 2004, where they earned a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in Philosophy and Russian. Stas then went on to pursue a Juris Doctor (JD) degree in Law at Boston College Law School from 2006 to 2009. In 2008, they briefly attended Georgetown University Law Center as well to further their studies in Law.
