Gunnar Klös is a highly skilled postdoctoral researcher with extensive experience in biosensors and nanoscience. Currently at CIC biomaGUNE since June 2021, focus is on developing novel high-sensitivity biosensors. Prior to this, Gunnar held a postdoctoral position at the University of Oxford, where notable work included single-molecule trapping, nano-fluidic device application, and the construction of advanced microscopy setups. Gunnar's academic journey includes a PhD in Nanoscience from Aarhus University, complemented by a Master's in Physics focusing on Biophysics from the University of Göttingen. Previous roles include guest researcher positions at the University of Glasgow and Max Planck Institute for Dynamics and Selforganization, along with a strong foundation in teaching and tutor roles during early academic career stages.
