Geoffrey Smith is a seasoned financial professional with over two decades of experience at CIBC, currently serving as Senior Director since June 2002. In this role, Geoffrey oversees creditor insurance for mortgages, lines of credit, loans, and credit cards. Previous positions include Senior Director for Core Creditor Insurance and Director roles focused on unsecured lending, mortgages, personal lending, and strategy and analytics. Notably, Geoffrey has managed compensation and sales force incentive programs and has extensive experience in financial analysis and consulting. Prior to CIBC, Geoffrey worked as a Risk Analyst at Canada Trust/TD Bank Financial Group. Educational qualifications include an MBA in Strategy and Finance from the University of Toronto - Rotman School of Management and a Bachelor of Science in Computer Engineering from Queen's University.
