Don Wegner is a Technology Consultant at CIBC, with extensive experience in service and platform management for desktop environments, overseeing projects that support up to 60,000 workstations. Responsibilities include managing major upgrades such as Windows 10 and Office rollouts, maintaining BYOD services, and conducting research and development for new software and hardware solutions. Prior to CIBC, Don held various roles at CGI, where accountability included leading desktop support projects for notable clients, reporting on desktop problem trends, and supporting a team of analysts. Don began a technical career at Purolator Courier, providing support for a large fleet of Windows desktops and managing inventory and asset management. Education was received from Ryerson University.
