Steve Kennedy has a diverse work experience spanning several companies and roles. Steve started their career in 1993 as the Owner of The Master's Computer Consulting, where they provided hardware, software, and network service and support to businesses and individuals. From 2004 to 2007, they worked as the Director of Information Services at The Carpenter's Place, where they developed a case management software and managed desktop support and server management. From 2007 to 2012, they served as the Director of IS at Community Collaboration Inc., overseeing the development of an online collaborative case management software and handling hardware and software selection for the organization. In 2013, they joined SupplyCore Inc. as a Software Engineer and Implementation Specialist, working on the MPOWR software and participating in proposal writing. Since 2014, they have been working at Insightformation, Inc. as the Chief Technology Officer/Consultant, where they lead a team of developers and provides consulting services for implementing Strategy Management software. Additionally, they have been a Technical Arts Director at Community Bible Church since 1993, overseeing sound, lighting, and video for services and special events.
Steve Kennedy attended Illinois Central College from 1982 to 1984, where they studied computer science without completing a degree. Following this, from 1984 to 1987, they attended the Moody Bible Institute, where they earned a diploma in theology with a focus on Christian education and youth.
