Sherif Salama is an experienced financial professional currently serving as the Chief Risk Officer at CIB Kenya Limited and Mayfair CIB Bank Ltd. Since April 2016, Sherif has also been a top-rated financial trainer in banking and risk at The American University in Cairo and Paris ESLSCA Business School. With a robust background in credit risk management, Sherif has held various positions at CIB Egypt, including NPL Risk Team Head, Associate Director of Corporate Credit Risk, and Senior Credit Analyst. Sherif’s educational credentials include an MBA in Accounting and Finance from the University of Northampton, executive diplomas in Strategic Management and Leadership from Pearson College London, and multiple certifications in banking risk and credit.
