Rusty Curtis has extensive work experience in facilities management and project management. Rusty is currently serving as the Corporate Director of Facilities at Churchill Downs Incorporated since August 2021. Before that, they worked as the Executive Director of Facilities Management at Coushatta Casino Resort from 2017 to 2021. Prior to that, they held the role of Construction Project Manager at Cortland Partners from 2014 to 2017. Rusty also has experience at Coushatta Casino Resort as the Executive Director of Facilities Management from 2011 to 2014. Rusty has worked as a Senior Project Manager at Hoar Program Management from 2003 to 2011. Additionally, Rusty served as the Director of Operations at Wireless Constructors from 2001 to 2003 and General Manager at SBA Communications from 1999 to 2001. Earlier in their career, they worked as a Project Manager at Carlson Design/Construction, Fluor Daniel, and MCI Telecommunications.

Rusty Curtis earned a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering from the University of Maryland, where they studied from 1977 to 1982.
