Lisa Sklar is a seasoned writer with extensive experience in the publishing industry, currently serving as Senior Writer at Church Pension Group since September 2023. Previously, Lisa held the roles of Metadata Specialist and Copywriter at Penguin Random House from January 2022 to October 2023, as well as various positions including Associate Copy Chief, Senior Copywriter, and Copywriter from 2001 to 2015, where contributions included developing successful marketing copy for numerous New York Times bestsellers. Early career highlights include positions as a Copywriter for Penguin Random House UK, John Wiley and Sons, and Associate Editor at Billboard. Lisa also served as a Teaching Assistant at the International Center of Photography, assisting with courses in portrait, large-format, and street photography.
