Shauna Ghorbani is a dedicated social work professional currently serving as a School Social Worker at Somerset Academy Wellington since August 2023. Concurrently, Shauna volunteers as a Student Leader at Church by the Glades, providing guidance and support to middle and high school students. Previous experience includes working as an Anti-Trafficking Case Worker for the International Rescue Committee and serving as an AmeriCorps Member with City Year. Additionally, Shauna has interned at the Sickle Cell Aid Foundation, providing care and assistance to clients, and at Miracle Hill Nursing and Rehabilitation, where responsibilities included resident communication and support. Shauna holds a Master of Social Work degree specializing in Clinical/Medical Social Work and a Bachelor's degree in Social Work, both from Florida State University.
