Dr. Eduardo Reyes serves as the Superintendent of the Chula Vista Elementary School District since February 2022, previously holding the position of Chief Human Resources Officer at the Sweetwater Union High School District from September 2020 to February 2022. Dr. Reyes has extensive experience in education, having been a member of the Board of Trustees for the Chula Vista Elementary School District from December 2014 to July 2021 and serving as a high school principal at the Sweetwater Union High School District for over 27 years, from January 1993 to August 2020. Dr. Reyes holds an Ed.D., MBA, and M.Ed. in Educational Leadership and Business Administration from San Diego State University, where studies were completed between 1996 and 1998.
