Leah James is an experienced professional in healthcare and management, currently serving as Operations Manager at CHS Healthcare since April 2017, and also as Scheme Manager for Care Home Selection at NNUH, focusing on supporting patients and families in their transition from hospital care. Previously, Leah held a managerial role at Mencap from January 2013 to December 2016, where responsibilities included supporting individuals with learning disabilities, and served as Service Manager for The Royal Mencap Society from March 2016. Earlier experience includes multiple managerial positions at Better Homes LLC, starting as a Leasing Consultant in January 2008 and progressing to Sales and Leasing Manager until June 2011, along with a role as a Support Worker at HomeStart and ownership of Ashwood Hotel, which provided housing for vulnerable individuals. Leah holds a BSc (Hons) in Psychology from The Open University, completing the degree between 2000 and 2005.
