Jordi Capdevila is an experienced professional currently serving as the Head of Quality Assurance at CHS Alliance, overseeing the Core Humanitarian Standard Verification Scheme since January 2024. Capdevila has held the position of Director at the Barcelona International Peace Center since September 2017, focusing on transforming the center into an independent nonprofit organization and providing international training in conflict prevention and crisis management. As an international evaluation and monitoring consultant for the European Commission since July 2017, Capdevila has contributed expertise to the EU H2020 research framework. Additional roles include Subject Matter Expert for Humanitarian Affairs at NATO Joint Warfare Centre since January 2009 and various positions with international organizations such as the United Nations and Asian Development Bank, specializing in governance, policy planning, and post-conflict operations.
