Chelsea Pierce is the McKinnon Curator of Modern and Contemporary Art at the Chrysler Museum of Art since July 2022. Chelsea has extensive experience in curatorial roles, including serving as a Teaching Assistant at the Courtauld Institute of Art and Curatorial Assistant in Contemporary Art at the Dallas Museum of Art. Previous internships include positions at The Drawing Center, Brooklyn Museum, and Philbrook Art Museum, where Chelsea supported various curatorial projects and exhibitions. Chelsea holds a PhD in Art History from The Courtauld Institute of Art, an MA in Museum Studies from New York University, and a BA in Anthropology from the University of Oklahoma.
