Gene J.W. Kim is an accomplished executive with extensive experience in business development and strategic leadership across various industries. Currently serving as COO and president of new business at MERCURY PROJECT since November 2022, Gene also holds the position of Venture Partner at Chrysalix Venture Capital, leading fundraising for the Robovalley Fund. Previously, Gene was President at Fairwood Welbeck Natural Resources, overseeing significant LNG export projects in North America, and Executive Managing Director at GE International Korea, focusing on growth and strategy. Further roles include President of Scapa Asia, advisor at EMETA, director at Cisco Systems, and Manager at Arthur D. Little, along with foundational experience in business development and corporate finance at Samsung Electronics. Gene holds an MBA from IMD and a BA from Yonsei University.
