DongJun Kim is a seasoned software engineer with extensive experience in web technology and software development. Currently employed at NAVER Corp since March 2021, DongJun has contributed to the development of the Whale browser and Whale OS, both based on Chromium. As a committer for Chromium since 2015, DongJun has significantly impacted the open-source platform. Prior to NAVER, DongJun worked at Samsung Electronics from August 2007 to March 2021 as a Staff Software Engineer, focusing on the Tizen platform, where key achievements included delivering a web engine for Tizen OS and enhancing smart device features. DongJun also has experience in connected car systems and Bluetooth technology, having developed protocols and applications in collaboration with notable automotive manufacturers. DongJun holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Engineering from Myongji University.
