Bradford Olson has a diverse work experience in various roles and industries. Bradford started their career as a Student Engineer at the United States Nuclear Regulatory Commission in 2010, where they assembled, reviewed, and summarized operational and management documents. Bradford then worked as an Undergraduate/Graduate Research Assistant at the Wind Tunnel/Aero Research Lab from 2011 to 2013.
In 2013, Olson joined the Advance Composite Materials Textiles Research Lab as a Graduate Research Assistant, where they worked until 2014. Bradford continued their research at the same lab as a Graduate Research Assistant from 2014 to 2019.

Bradford Olson has a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering with a Minor in Psychology from the University of Massachusetts Lowell, which they obtained from 2008 to 2012. Bradford then pursued a Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering with a concentration in Fluids/Composite Materials at the same institution from 2013 to 2014. Bradford further advanced their education by earning a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) degree in Mechanical Engineering with a concentration in Fluids/Composite Materials as well, which they completed from 2014 to 2017 at the University of Massachusetts Lowell.
