Kelly Burgess is an experienced professional in fundraising, marketing, and design, currently serving as the Fundraising Events and Campaigns Manager at Christians Against Poverty NZ since August 2023. Previously, Kelly held roles at Tearfund New Zealand including Engagement Manager and Sponsorship Projects Lead, focusing on project acquisition, retention, and fundraising product development. As a freelance marketing and creative services professional from February 2019 to February 2021, Kelly worked remotely for New Zealand-based clients, also contributing to Tearfund NZ and Sarah Woollett Consultants. Kelly’s extensive experience includes positions such as Campaigns and Appeals Manager at Tearfund New Zealand, Senior Designer and Senior Design Consultant at Bartercard New Zealand, and Marketing Specialist and Graphic Designer at TEAR Fund New Zealand, among others. Kelly holds a Bachelor of Communications degree from Auckland University of Technology.
