David Roach serves as the Senior Pastor at Shiloh Baptist Church since December 2020 and has an extensive background in writing and education. As a correspondent for the Southern Baptists of Texas Convention since January 2007, David has authored numerous articles on theology and culture. Contributions to Christianity Today began in July 2019, with articles reaching an international audience. David also holds positions as an Academic Proctor at BibleMesh Institute, an Adjunct Professor at multiple universities, and previously served as Chief National Correspondent for Baptist Press. David's educational qualifications include a Doctor of Philosophy in Church History and a Master of Divinity, both from The Southern Baptist Theological Seminary, along with a Bachelor of Science in Philosophy from Vanderbilt University. Notable recognitions for writing excellence have been awarded by the Baptist Communicators Association.
