Larry Carpenter has had a long and successful career in the publishing industry. Larry has held various executive positions, including President and Publisher at Standard Publishing and Vice President of Marketing at Thomas Nelson. Larry was also the Sr. VP/Chief Marketing Officer at STL Distribution North America. Earlier in their career, Carpenter served as President and CEO of Ingram Book Group-Spring Arbor and Spring Arbor Distributors. Larry also held the position of President & CEO, Spring Arbor at Ingram Industries, Inc. and was Senior Vice President at Ingram Book Group, Inc. Overall, Carpenter has extensive experience in sales, marketing, and executive leadership in the publishing industry.

Larry Carpenter attended the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill from 1973 to 1978, where they earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in American History. Larry then pursued further education at the UNC Kenan-Flagler Business School from 1978 to 1980, obtaining a Master of Business Administration degree with a focus on Business.
