Michel Takes currently serves as a Docent natuurkunde at Christelijk Lyceum Apeldoorn, mentoring upper-level Havo students since August 2023. Previously, Michel held roles at Alkwin Kollege as a Werkplekbegeleider and Docent natuurkunde from August 2016 to August 2023, as well as positions at Cito, Goois Lyceum, Het 4e Gymnasium, Ichthus Lyceum, and various stages throughout an educational career beginning in 1999. Michel earned a Master of Science in Teaching Physics from the University of Amsterdam, alongside degrees in Particle and Astroparticle Physics and a Bachelor's in Nature and Astronomy. Additionally, experience includes engineering roles at NIOZ Royal Netherlands Institute for Sea Research and a foundational education in mechanical engineering and fine mechanics.
