Kimberly Moon has over 20 years of work experience in various educational and retail settings. Kimberly started their career as a 1st Grade Reading Teaching Assistant at Sikeston Public Schools in 1992 and later worked as a Shelby County Schools employee at Southwind Elementary School from 1994 to 2001. Kimberly then became the Academic Coordinator of Middle School Technology at St. Mary's Episcopal School from 2002 to 2012, where they integrated technology into the curriculum and provided training and troubleshooting support. From 2012 to the present, Kimberly has been working as the Technology Director at Christ Methodist Day School, where they teach Lego Robotics, plans technology integration, and trains faculty on various software and devices. In 2016, they briefly worked as a Sales Associate at J Jill, assisting customers with purchases and providing customer service. Additionally, Kimberly served as an Adjunct Professor at the University of Memphis in 1999.

Kimberly Moon obtained a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Early Elementary Education from Murray State University between 1988 and 1992. Subsequently, they pursued a Master's degree in Instructional Design and Technology at The University of Memphis, which they completed from 1995 to 1999.
