Matthew Mitchell has a diverse work experience in the field of human resources, with a focus on recruitment, talent development, diversity and inclusion, compliance, and change management. Matthew served as the Chief People Officer at CHRIS 180 starting in 2022. Prior to this, they worked as the Director of Human Resources and Change Management at Ermi LLC. from 2019 to 2022, where they managed a team of HR professionals and oversaw the HR division for 200+ employees dispersed across multiple states. From 2017 to 2019, they held various roles at National Vision Inc., including Employee Relations Manager and Employee Relations Business Partner, where they successfully handled employee investigations, provided cross-functional leadership, and served as a first-line contact for employee resolutions. Before that, they worked as the Manager of Human Resources at CATMEDIA, an Inc. 500 Company, from 2014 to 2017, where they led HR initiatives and implemented streamlined processes. Matthew also worked as a Human Resources Consultant at UFlex Fit in 2013 and as a Presidential Management Fellow and Human Resources Generalist at the US Small Business Administration from 2013 to 2014. In 2012, they served as a Co-Manager and Trainer at RaceTrac Petroleum.

Matthew Mitchell has a strong educational background in Human Resource Management and Change Management. Matthew obtained a Master of Science (MS) degree from UCF College of Business in Human Resource Management/Change Management, which they completed from 2010 to 2011. Prior to that, they earned a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Business Administration from Florida Agricultural and Mechanical University, where they studied from 2000 to 2006.
