Jim Decota has a wide range of experience in the financial industry. Jim began their career at Armanino Mckenna as a Supervising Senior Accountant from September 1999 to October 2002. Jim then worked at Edward Jones as a Financial Advisor from March 2003 to March 2014. Following that, they established their own wealth management firm called DeCota Wealth Management, where they served as the Owner from March 2014 to August 2016. Jim then became the Owner and Principal at Enso Wealth Management from August 2016 to January 2023. Currently, they hold the position of Managing Director at Choreo, starting in January 2023.

Jim Decota attended St. Vincent De Paul High School from 1991 to 1995. Following their high school education, they pursued higher studies at Saint Mary's College of California, where they obtained a Bachelor's degree in Accounting from 1995 to 1999.
