Michael Murray is an experienced professional in the oil and gas industry, currently serving as the Business Development Manager at Whiting Petroleum Corporation since 2019. Prior to this role, Michael held the position of Land/BD while seeking opportunities. Michael's extensive background includes serving as the Vice President of Land and Director of M&A at Emerald Oil Inc. from February 2015 to August 2016, as well as the Vice President of Land at Kodiak Oil & Gas, Inc. from June 2007 to December 2014. Michael earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Petroleum Land Management from the University of Oklahoma between 1978 and 1981.
