BD Director Corporate Multichannel, Strategic Partnerships at ChopValue

Heather has always been driven to help others and make a difference in their community. After completing their undergraduate degree in Communications, they started their career in Investor Relations & Communications Specialist. Heather enjoyed drafting investor relations materials and working with different stakeholders but after a few years, they realized that they wanted to do more. This led their to pursue their MBA at UBC Sauder School of Business.

While completing their MBA, Heather worked as a Sponsored Campaign Representative at United Way of the Lower Mainland. Heather was responsible for developing sponsorship proposals, stewardship reports and other fundraising materials. This experience solidified their desire to work in the nonprofit sector.

After graduation, Heather took on the role of BD Manager Corporate Multichannel at ChopValue, a social enterprise that upcycles chopsticks into sustainable products. In this role, they are responsible for managing corporate accounts, developing marketing strategies and executing fundraising campaigns. Heather is passionate about ChopValue’s mission to reduce waste and create a more sustainable world.

Heather completed their Bachelor of Arts in Marketing & Communication Studies at McGill University. Heather then went on to study Cultural Anthropology at Universiteit Leiden as part of their study abroad program.

Their manager is Tatiane Vita, VP Global Sales & Marketing. They work with Irish Pasao - Digital Marketing Manager, Sue - Director, Creative & Brand, and Joel Marc - Head of Ecom Strategy Consultant.
