Stephen Crano is a seasoned professional in corporate communications and public policy, currently serving as the Manager of Corporate Communications at Choose Chicago since July 2023. Prior experience includes roles such as Deputy Press Secretary in the Office of the Mayor of Chicago, Data Management Analyst at Brooklyn Community Services, and Kreisman Graduate Fellow for Housing Policy and Law at the Mansueto Institute for Urban Innovation, University of Chicago. Stephen's background also features leadership positions, including Director of Basic Needs Services at the Community Action Network of Ann Arbor and experience with Teach For America as a Second Grade Teacher. Stephen holds a Master of Public Policy degree from the Harris School of Public Policy at the University of Chicago and a Bachelor of Arts in History, Politics, and Philosophy from the University of Pittsburgh.
