Karl Lugo has a wide range of work experience in various roles and industries. Karl started their career as a Sales Associate at CEB in 2008, where they engaged with C-suite level executives. Karl then worked as an Assistant Director of Admissions at Argosy University from 2009 to 2010, exceeding recruitment goals and receiving multiple outstanding achievement awards. From 2010 to 2013, Karl served as a Commercial Account Manager at ESI International, responsible for developing new accounts and managing client relationships. Karl then joined American Directions Group as an Account Executive from 2013 to 2017, working on grassroots communications programs for political campaigns. Since 2018, Karl has been working at Chong + Koster, starting as an Associate Strategist and progressing to Senior Strategist and Associate Strategy Director, and currently serving as the Strategy Director.

Karl Lugo completed their Bachelor of Arts degree in English at the University of Virginia in 2008. In 2011, they pursued further education and earned a Master's Certificate in Project Management with a Concentration in Leadership from The George Washington University.
