As the vice president of community and provider relations, TaWanda spends the majority of her time coaching the Choices provider relations team to ensure that all Choices contractual providers are in compliance with the standards of state and local governments. Maintaining a strong partnership with network providers across all of our programs is the cornerstone to enhancing network capacity. Under her leadership, the Choices provider relations network, which is unique to Choices, has nearly doubled in the last eight years. TaWanda has extensive experience in child welfare and juvenile justice in the public sector, having held various supervisory positions in Indiana’s Lake and Marion Counties. Prior to joining Choices in 2002, she worked in business development and marketing for Resource Residential Treatment Facility and Meadows Hospital. TaWanda serves her community through the Marion County Child Protection Team and the Indianapolis Chapter of the Disproportionality Committee.
