Alex Doherty is an experienced Data Governance Economist with a strong background in data analysis and research, currently employed at Chmura Economics & Analytics since May 2013. In this role, responsibilities have included conducting cluster analyses, constructing population projection algorithms, analyzing survey data related to the tourism industry, and participating in client meetings to develop presentations. Previous experience includes serving as a Research Assistant at the University of Virginia Data Science Institute, where responsibilities encompassed curriculum development and evaluation for the MS in Data Science program. Prior to this, Alex worked as a Swim Coach at The Dominion Club and interned at Boaz and Ruth, contributing to various community projects. Alex holds a Bachelor of Arts in Economics and Financial Mathematics from the University of Virginia, complemented by a summer program in Economics at The London School of Economics.
