Richard Quan has a diverse work experience spanning several companies and roles. Richard started their career in 2000 at Vialta as a Senior Embedded Software Engineer, where they worked on various video and communication products. In 2006, they joined InnoMedia as a Senior Embedded Software Engineer, focusing on VOIP products. In 2007, they joined Avistar Communications as a Senior Software Engineer, utilizing their SIP and H.323 experience for PC-based applications.

In 2008, Richard joined U4EA Technologies as a Senior Software Engineer and Team Leader, leading a team responsible for developing software for SIP and Voice/Video enabled ALGW Business Gateway products. Richard also worked on cross-functional teams and wrote function and design documents.

In 2010, they transitioned to Ixia Network Visibility Solutions as a Software Development Manager, where they were responsible for architecting and developing intelligent Tap, Bypass, and NPB products for secured networks. Richard oversaw the software development of the Access Product Line with a compact team.

Lastly, in 2017, Richard took on the role of Chief Executive Officer at Chivalry Health Inc. Overall, Richard has gained extensive experience in software development, team leadership, and product management throughout their career.

Richard Quan holds a Master's degree in Engineering of Maritime traffic management and control from Dalian Maritime University. Prior to that, they obtained a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science from the same university. Additionally, they have obtained several certifications including ixLDP 1 and 2 from Ixia in 2014, New Manager Boot Camp from the University of California, Berkeley in 2012, and Java 2 programmer certification from Sun Microsystems in January 2003. Richard is also a Scrum Master, although the specific details of when and where they obtained this certification are unknown.
