Eva Grimaldi is a skilled MRI Physicist currently working at Chipiron, where the focus is on the design of innovative, lightweight MRI machines utilizing quantum detectors for enhanced performance at ultra-low magnetic fields. Previously, Eva served as a Research Engineer at Thales, specializing in high-frequency optoelectronic mixers based on two-dimensional materials. With a strong academic background, Eva completed a postdoctoral fellowship at ETH Zürich, exploring magnetization reversal in thin films for memory applications, and held a PhD at Unité Mixte de Physique CNRS/Thales, investigating spintronic radiofrequency nanodevices. Eva's early research experience includes a stint at DTU as a research assistant and an internship at Snecma focusing on turbine nozzle design, complemented by an engineering degree from CentraleSupélec and a PhD in Physics from Paris-Sud University.
