Michael Chen has extensive experience in the payment industry, currently serving as Deputy General Manager, Product at UnionPay International since November 2012. Previously, Michael held various leadership roles at UnionPay International, including Assistant General Manager for e-Commerce Business and Product, Assistant General Manager for Global Accounts, and Senior Director of Global Account Management. Prior experience at China UnionPay from December 2006 to November 2012 included roles such as Global Account Manager, Senior Project Manager focusing on Latin America, and Market Representative for card acceptance in Germany, Austria, and Switzerland. Michael holds a Master in Business Administration from Tongji University and a Bachelor in Construction Project Management from the same institution, with additional studies at the University of Hamburg.
