Charles Zhi has extensive experience in the telecommunications industry, currently serving as Regional Sales Manager and Sales Support Manager for ICT at China Telecom Americas since July 2014. Previously, Charles was with Huawei Technologies in the USA from October 2006 to June 2014, holding the positions of Director of Network Solution and Senior Product Line Manager, where responsibilities included managing optical, microwave, and IP networks. Earlier roles include leadership positions at Siemens from June 1998 to September 2006, managing various network product lines, and a sales manager position at Lucent Technologies. Charles began a career in telecommunications as an Assistant Engineer at the 10th Research Institute of Ministry of Electronics Industry. Charles earned a Bachelor's degree in Communications Engineering from the University of Electronic Science and Technology of China, graduating in 1993.
